Terms of Service

By downloading or using ChemCalc Pro, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.

1. Use of the App

We are granting you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You are not allowed to copy, or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way.

2. Pro Subscriptions

ChemCalc Pro offers premium features via auto-renewable monthly and yearly subscriptions ("Pro Subscriptions"). By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

  • Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID (iTunes) or Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
  • Renewal Charges: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, at the original subscription price.
  • Management: You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings on the App Store or Google Play after purchase.
  • Free Trial: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
  • Apple Terms of Use: For iOS users, by using our app and subscribing, you also agree to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

3. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the app and its content (equations, data tables, design) remain the property of ChemCalc Pro. You may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app.

4. Disclaimers & Data Usage

The calculations and predictions provided by the app are for educational purposes. We collect anonymized usage statistics and crash reports through Google Firebase to improve the reliability and performance of our services.

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the results are 100% error-free. Always verify critical results with standard chemistry textbooks or laboratory experiments.

5. Limitation of Liability

ChemCalc Pro will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the app.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
